Professional Development
Rockingham County Schools values our teaching staff. We believe that continuous, high-quality professional development is essential to the nation's goal of high standards of learning for every child.
Professional development is a continuous process of individual and collective reflection and improvement of practice. We strive to provide opportunities that are job-embedded and prepare our teachers to use current instructional tools.
Professional Development Forms
Staff Development Procedures and Forms are updated each year. Credits earned prior to July 1, 2017 are viewable in HRMS. Credits earned beginning July 1, 2017 are viewable in the Home Base PD system.
