Parents' Bill of Rights
On August 15, 2023, the North Carolina legislature passed the Parents' Bill of Rights. To better serve our families, we have created this dedicated webpage that includes information, forms and resources that will help parents/guardians access information, request information, report concerns or submit objections, opt in for- and receive notification about specific things as it relates to their child(ren) who attend our schools.
Parents' Guide to Student Achievement
It is the goal of the Rockingham County School System to provide parents and guardians of our students access to information pertaining to student achievement through the district's Parents' Guide to Student Achievement (PGSA).
Paper copies of this document and the information included within it can be obtained through a request from your child’s individual school.
