Athletics:
Congrats!! To the Varsity Football team on advancing to State Playoffs.
They will travel & play @ Shelby High School, Friday at 7:30pm.
Please come out and support your fellow Panthers.
Winter Sports is beginning, if you are interested in participating, please see Athletic Director Coach Blackwell for further details.
Boys JV and Varsity Basketball teams will scrimmage TODAY at home vs Western Alamance, Games begin at 6pm – Cost is $5. Please come out and support
JV Boys/Varsity Girls and Boys will play HOME - Friday vs Northeast Guilford. Games begin at 4:30p
Wrestling will have a Tri-Meet –Home- Wednesday at 6pm in the Old Gym.
FCA will meet in the Chorus Room, Wednesday, 8:00am
Speakers will be Kylie Draughn and Pastor Jason Barrow from OBC. All are welcome!!!
Fees and Dues:

RCS is hosting a RockATOP Apprenticeship Community Night Tuesday, October 29, 2024 beginning at 6pm at the Rockingham County Economic Development Small Business & Tourism Building. This event is open to all Rockingham County students regardless of school.

RCS families mark your calendars -- All schools on the traditional school calendar have two important dates coming up - an early release day Friday, October 25th and a teacher workday with no school for students on Monday, October 28th.

October 21-27 is College Application Week where colleges & universities waive application fees, including most institutions participating in NC College Connect. Contact your high school College Adviser or Counselor with questions about college applications or completing FAFSA.
Rachel’s Challenge brings people together and helps break down the walls that lead to

The RCS Board of Education will hold their next board meeting at the Rockingham County Schools Central Office located at 511 Harrington Highway, Eden, NC on October 14, 2024 at 6pm. The BOE Policy Committee Meeting will take place at 4:30 PM in the upstairs boardroom.
RCS, RCC and Rockingham County Economic Development is hosting our 2nd annual career expo, ENVISION, on October 3rd for all 7th graders and October 4th for all 10th graders. ENVISION exposes students to all the career opportunities available for them to explore.
