Good Evening- This is Reagan Harris, Senior Cheerleader, with this week’s Morehead Message.
-We have had another successful week at Morehead. Our academics and athletics are thriving. Three Adobe students have qualified for the nationals in June. This past week we crowned conference champions in wrestling, swim and indoor track. Congratulations to all athletes, coaches, and students who participated.
-Report cards went out Monday, February 3rd. Please ask to see your student’s report card
-Valentine's Day is Friday, Feb. 14th. Morehead High School WILL accept Valentine's Day deliveries in the conference room near the front office on Friday, Feb. 14th, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. ONLY. To cause minimum disruption, deliveries will not be accepted in the front office. Please ensure that every item is labeled with the recipients' and givers' names for the correct delivery. Parents and friends who plan to deliver gifts should tell their students in advance so the student knows to pick up the gifts. We cannot guarantee that items will be held after Friday if students fail to pick up their gifts.
-Students who have items to pick up will be released at the end of the day in time to retrieve their gifts and get to their bus or car for their ride home. Please remember that for safety reasons, balloons and glass vases ARE NOT allowed on Rockingham County School buses. For any questions, please contact MHS.
-Doors open at 7:45 AM. The Cafeteria will be open for only those eating breakfast at 8:10. The school day will begin at 8:30 AM and end at 3:30 PM. Please have your student here on time.
