Yearbook Cover Contest Accepting Designs November 4-15. Do you want to design the yearbook cover? Check out our contest rules below! Who Can Participate? All students K-5 may enter a drawing! Students may work on their designs in art classes, in class if teachers allow it or at home. Students may submit their entry with a group, partner, or on their own. Guidelines: Entries must include the following to be considered for the yearbook: 8 1/2 x 11 paper size, portrait orientation (not landscape), include school name Monroeton, Include school year 2024-2025, Include positive theme or display (relate to PRIDE, helping others, learning, being positive, etc.), include drawings or designs related to Mustangs, school, learning, etc, Be in color (no pure black or white), names of participants must be written on the BACK of the drawing in pencil. Parents may offer ideas, but all work should be done by students, Students may only submit ONE design. Even if students work in a group to submit a design, they cannot also submit an individual design or another one with a different group. Timeline & voting: Students may submit entries to Mrs. James. No entries will be taken after Friday, November 15. Entries will be reviewed by staff to ensure requirements have been met and the top 5 will be selected and displayed for school wide voting. School wide voting will occur November 18-22 and the winner will be announced on Monday, November 25th.
