CYBER SMART WEEK
Pause before you post—your words have power, so choose kindness and positivity! Also, it is a reflection upon yourself and once it's in the digital world, it is there forever.
Think Before You Share, Protect with Care!
Talk with your child about keeping personal details like names, addresses, and passwords private to stay safe online. By sharing examples of risks like phishing and oversharing—and modeling good habits—you can help them navigate the digital world responsibly.
Congrats to the Lion's Club “Peace without Limits” Art contest winners:
Serenity (1st), Alyssa (2nd) and Griffin (3rd)
Monday means Mad for Plaid! Tomorrow, dazzle us with you Holiday Beat!
Friday was "dress as a Christmas Movie Character" and these people did not disappoint!

In our connected world, staying safe online and being a responsible digital citizen go hand in hand. Remind students to protect personal information, report unsafe online behavior, and treat others with kindness and respect. Together, we can create a positive and secure digital community! 🌐✨

Update for 12/16
Good Evening Holmes Families!
As Christmas approaches, we want to wish you a season filled with joy, warmth, and precious time with your loved ones. This break is a wonderful opportunity to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories together. Enjoy this time with your student! Thank you for being such an important part of our school community, and we look forward to an exciting new year ahead.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
We have an upcoming band winter concert coming up. Please note that all families and guests will walk through the metal detectors. These are the same detectors that we use at school. Please make sure that you travel “light” as eyeglass cases, make up bags, as well as, many metal objects will set off the detector. Keys and cell phones will go through with no problem. Thank you for your understanding and patience with this new to us process. We will have staff members ready to assist you with any questions.
There is an excellent way to always keep the memories from this school year? It is the yearbook! You can purchase a yearbook from Mr. Moore in the mornings. He is located in his room in the 6th grade building. You must get permission from your homebase teacher before you venture over or you will be stopped and sent back. How much are the books, you ask? Well, right now, they are only $35! This is a $5 discount that is only available until January 1st! Get yours today! Books will be delivered before the end of the school year!
