Activities/Clubs

Below are the clubs and after school activities available for students.

Information and applications for activities are available in the office.

The GOFAR Club - Staff Sponsor: Mr. Davis - P.E. teacher

This is a 20 week program where the students train to complete a 5K run at Grogan Park  308 E. Stadium Drive  Eden, NC. The program combines the use of physical activity and healthy eating tidbits to help fight childhood obesity.  Hopefully, teaching children to make better choices now will help them create and follow a healthier lifestyle as they grow-up. More information will be forthcoming after the new year.

Student Council:

Third, fourth, and fifth grade teachers and students elect students who are responsible, participate in class, feel comfortable speaking in front of others and follow ROAR expectations.  The students in the Student Council meet once a month and are expected to report information to their class and guide their classmates in projects that will serve the community. They work hard to help with community events such as wrapping presents for those less fortunate at Christmas, collecting cans for the Reidsville Outreach Center and various other fundraisers to help raise money for our school and the community. The students do an excellent job with planning and decorating for the Valentine's Day Dance. Maintaining positive spirits is our goal and the Student Council Representatives discuss and decide on incentives for all students to do their best on End of Grade assessments as we end the school year, and even provide a little good cheer to our wonderful staff at Williamsburg during Teacher Appreciation week.
