On January 8, the NC-961/Rockingham County High School AFJROTC Color Guard Team was invited to perform as the Color Guard for the Presentation of the Colors during the NC Legislative Opening Day 2025. They did an outstanding job and were incredibly prepared by coming into practice even though the school had been canceled due to the Weather Event that hit the area and state over the weekend. It displays their dedication to themselves, their school, their unit, and their community. I am extremely proud of the commitment and duty they showed during this event and throughout their time these last 2-3 years they have been a part of NC-961 and Rockingham County High School.
