Our 5th graders just finished a Wonders reading story and had a blast practicing the vocabulary words associated with it. We also had a lively debate about the impact of sports on schoolwork. The kids did some research and came up with some awesome rebuttals. It was a ton of fun!

Good evening Lincoln families! This is Mrs. Poe with announcements for the week ahead. We kicked-off our Cookie Dough Fundraiser last week. The last day of the fundraiser will be Oct. 8th. Parents of car riders, please come through the car rider line and drop students off at the gym doors each morning. We have adults stationed at the car line drop off to assist students. Refrain from parking in the staff lot and walking students over to the gym door as it can be a safety issue due to high traffic volume. Good News Club will meet after school tomorrow, Sept. 23rd. Tuesday, Sept. 24th is mum delivery and pick-up day. You may pick up your mum orders between 2-6pm Tuesday. Due to the mum pick up at the gym, we will dismiss car riders from the front entrance of the school Tuesday. Teachers will be sending home Interim Progress Reports Thursday, Sept. 26th. If you have any questions regarding your child's progress, please reach out to your child's teacher. Friday, Sept. 27th is an Early Release Day. School will dismiss at 12:45pm Friday. This concludes our announcements for the week. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
