Hello Moss Street Families! I am so honored and excited to be serving as Moss Street’s Principal this school year! I have served as an educator in Rockingham County since 2005. Since obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education and Political Science in 2005 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I have been employed with Rockingham County Schools in various capacities—serving as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and presently as the principal at Moss Street Elementary School. In 2010, I completed advanced graduate studies and earned a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Averett University. In 2012, I acquired my Educational Leadership Add-On Licensure through High Point University. In my current capacity, I strive to demonstrate my commitment to the continuous learning of current research-based instructional practices, while working collaboratively to develop a learning environment where all stakeholders engage in and benefit from learning. I look forward to working with you and your student throughout the school year! Please feel free to contact me at Moss Street at (336) 349-5370 or via email at email@example.com.
