Reidsville Middle School has a variety of sports programs. Sixth, seventh and eighth graders participating in these programs develop numerous skills such as:
Cognitive - or intellectual skills that require thought processes
Perceptual - interpretation of presented information
Motor - movement and muscle control
Perceptual motor - involves the through, interpretation and movement skills
Sportsmanship - fairness, ethics, respect, and fellowship with other teams
Teamwork - work performed by a team with a common goal
